A different kind of development company.

Blue Flag is a vertically integrated investment, real estate development and branding firm operating out of Boston, Massachusetts.  Our firm is designed to blur the line between residential and hospitality and between physical and experiential. We break the mold by tying guest and owner experiences to a sense of community, and believe that the world's most valuable spaces are a reflection of a lasting sense of place.

We specialize in designing places that resonate.

Blue Flag has built a reputation for acquiring unique residential and hospitality assets in high-barrier-to-entry markets and currently targets raw land, historic structures, hotels, campgrounds and restaurants. Additionally, Blue Flag makes strategic investments in related operating companies and brands. Our current portfolio includes over $240 million in active projects spread across large scale residential developments as well as hotel, retail and restaurant portfolios.

Our focus is industry-shifting ideas.

Our work involves unique collaborations with best-in-class partners including Life House, the first Silicon Valley-backed hotel company in the United States; AutoCamp, the leading brand in the outdoor hospitality or “glamping” space; Whitman Peterson, a hospitality and residential focused private equity firm; and The Lyons Group, Boston’s largest nightlife operator. We pair discretionary capital with strategic partnerships to deliver outsized growth to our portfolio of assets and operating investments. At the helm of this effort is a rare collection of expertise and talent on a mission to create transformational real estate.

We don't design spaces, we deliver a way of living.
